Clarence M. Mastowski

Clarence M. Mastowski, 95 of Normalville passed away peacefully Saturday, January 31, 2015 in Harmon House Care Center, Mt. Pleasant. He was born September 3, 1919 in White, a son of the late Joseph and Frances Roszak Mastowski. Clarence worked as several jobs during his life including being a Coal Miner, Framer, and working at the former Walworth Plant in Greensburg. He was a Veteran of WW II having served in the U.S. Army and he was a member of St. Raymond's of the Mountain R.C. Church in Donegal. Clarence is survived by his children Clarence Mastowski and his wife Carol of Normalville, Thomas Mastowski and his wife Debra of Connellsville, Richard Mastowski of McKees Rocks and Mary Mastowski of Normalville; eight grandchildren, Michele Hodgkiss and her husband Ron, Michael Mastowski and his wife Billie, Jill Basinger and her husband Larry, Jeff Mastowski and his wife Amy, Keina Mastowski and Chad Stanton, Ryan Mastowski and his wife Zara, Susan Mastowski and Rob Honeycutt and Robert Mastowski; his great grandchildren; Shane Mastowski and his wife Erica, Nicholas and Chase Hodgkiss, Allie, Cassie and Brandon Show, Brock Basinger, Cody, Collin, Zachary, Kara and Lauren Mastowski, Kasey and Cory Stanton, Sadie Mastowski, Cheyenne, Riley and Raina Honeycutt, and Mason Mastowski and a sister, Louise Mastowski, of Acme, PA. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Evelyn E. Mandziara Mastowski on Sept. 8, 2014, a daughter, Lorraine Mastowski; a son, Joseph Mastowski his brothers Ted, Walter, and Frank Mastowski, and his sisters Helen Dzielski, Bernice Mastowski, Verna Kasiewicz, Josephine Dzielski, and Mary Mastowski. Family and Friends will be received from 6-9 PM Monday and from 2-9 PM Tuesday in the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home, Inc., at the corner of 146 Municipal Building Road and Route 711, Melcroft (724-455-2310) where a Blessing Service will be held Wednesday at 9:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Raymond of the Mountains R.C. Church, Donegal, with Rev. Thaddeus Kaczmarek as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Raymond's Cemetery.
