Marilyn Ruth Nedrow

Marilyn Ruth Nedrow, 89, a longtime resident of Indian Head, passed away peacefully Monday November 14, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 19, 1933 in Munhall, Allegheny County a daughter of the late James Marsh and Ruth Kenney Marsh Kopp. Marilyn was a graduate of the former Homestead High School in Pittsburgh with the class of 1951. She had worked as a Secretary for the Union Railroad in Braddock. She was a member of St. Raymond of the Mountains R. C. Church in Donegal. Marilyn loved tole painting and taught it to other people. She also like quilting and enjoyed going to her quilting club in Scottdale. Marilyn will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her loving husband of 67 years John J. Nedrow, her children, John "Ike" Nedrow and wife Tammy of Dunbar and Jennifer Wilkerson and husband Ralph "Woody" of Cody, WY., her grandchildren, David John Nedrow and wife Jamie of Dunbar, Daniel Scott Nedrow and wife Loni of Dunbar, Kaitlyn DeLuca and husband Zack of Dunbar, Joseph John Nedrow of Daytona Beach, FL., John Justin "JJ" Nedrow of Daytona Beach, FL, Jimmy Nedrow of Daytona Beach, FL, Emma Wilkerson of Cody, WY., and Ella Wilkerson of Cody, WY., her 9 great grandchildren, her brother James Marsh and wife Cathy of Ohio, her sister Carol Kalp and husband Richard of Melcroft, and her step-sister June Belan of Pittsburgh. In addition to her parents Marilyn was predeceased by her son Joseph Scott Nedrow, her son-in-law Timothy Bollibon, her sister Linda Marsh, and her step-brother Jerry Kopp. Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass for Marilyn to be held Thursday at 10:00 AM, in St. Raymond of the Mountains R. C. Church, 164 School House Lane, Donegal, PA 15628, with Rev. Anthony Onoko as celebrant. (EVERYONE PLEASE GO DIRECTLY TO THE CHURCH). Private interment will be in St Raymond's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to St. Raymond of the Mountains R. C. Church, at the above mentioned address. Arrangements are under the direction of the Mark C. Brooks Funeral Home Inc., 146 Municipal Building Rd., Melcroft (724-455-2310).
