Noreen Kay Brady

Noreen Kay Brady, 70, of Acme, passed away peacefully Tuesday May 9, 2023 at her home, while surrounded and comforted by her loving family. She was born April 15, 1953 in Mt. Pleasant a daughter of the late Neil E. and Catherine Janesko Kinneer. Noreen was a graduate of St. Xavier Academy in Latrobe. Noreen worked as a self-employed Baker. She made baked goods for many people in the area and was especially known for her Princess Cakes. Noreen also had a passion for gardening and retired from Baking to pursue gardening. She loved taking an ordinary plot of ground and turning it into a beautiful garden of plants and flowers that everyone could enjoy. She was very good at gardening and kept up flower beds and gardens for many people in the area including the flower beds and garden at Nino's Restaurant in Laurelville. She was a member of St. Raymond of the Mountains R. C. Church in Donegal, where she was a member of the Christian Mothers, served as Eucharistic Minister, was the gardener with some other Christian Mothers, and took care of the Altar Flowers with flowers from her home. She was also a member of the Mt. Pleasant Garden Club and served as a former President. Noreen will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her loving family, her husband of 50 years Patrick Glenn Brady, her children Johanna Golkosky and husband Michael of Acme and Jill Painter and husband Rick of Acme, her wonderful grandchildren Alyssa Keslar, Cloey Golkosky, Lane Golkosky, Brady Painter, and Quinn Painter, and her siblings Elaine White of Acme, Neil Kinneer and wife Donna of Acme, Brian Kinneer and wife Brenda of Acme, and Rich Temple and wife Sherri of Jones Mills, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Noreen was predeceased by her brother-in-law Bob White. The family would like to thank everyone who sent prayers and gifts during the last few months. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass for Noreen to be held Monday at 10:00 AM, at St. Raymond of the Mountains R.C. Church, 164 School House Rd., Donegal, PA. 15628, with Rev. Anthony Onoko as celebrant.(EVERYONE PLEASE GO DIRECTLY TO THE CHURCH). Interment will be private. Donations may be made to St. Raymond of the Mountains R. C.
