Betty L. Hall

October 14, 1933 - April 28, 2022

Betty L. Hall, 88, of Champion passed away peacefully on Thursday April 28, 2022 at her home, while surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 14, 1933 in Connellsville a daughter of the late Forney and Marie Snyder Sanner. Betty was a graduate of Connellsville High School with the class of 1951. Prior to her retirement she worked as a Waitress and Prep Cook for Seven Springs Resort in Champion for over 20 years. Betty was a member of the Mt. Nebo Church of God and a former longtime member of the Saltlick Twp.Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Betty will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her loving daughters Connie Shawley and husband Randy of Champion and Amy Hixson of Champion, her grandchildren Michelle Pritts and husband Jamie of Champion, Michael Shawley and wife Tia of Normalville, Marcie Kalp and husband Jason of Donegal, and Nicole Hixson and Zach Darnel of Connellsville, her great grandchildren Cameron, Joshua, Conner, Jacob, Cody, Colin, and Austin, her sister Maryjane Peck of Florida, and her dear friend Freddie who loved her and cared for her. In addition to her parents Betty was predeceased by her husband Robert E. Hall on December 25, 2012, her sister Peggy Shawley, and her brothers Wayne Sanner and Larry T. "Tom" Sanner. The family would like to thank Katie, her nurse at Frick Hospital, for all the wonderful care given to Betty during her stay there. Private Funeral Services will be held for the family with Pastor Dennis Meyers officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Champion. Arrangements are under the direction of the Mark C.
