Hazel A. Hall-Wiltrout, 85, departed this life to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Mon. March 1, 2021. She was born March 14, 1935 in Acme a daughter of the late Ralph and Ida Kalp Brown. Hazel was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church in Acme and attended the Mt. Salem United Methodist Church in White. She was a charter member of the Calvary Ladies Missionary Society. She was also a member of the Saltlick Twp. VFD Auxiliary, and was a Girl Scout Leader. She loved to attend gospel sings and bluegrass festivals with her husband Gerald, she also loved to travel nearly seeing all 50 states, Germany , and France. Hazel worked at the Pine Run Country Club, and later at Seven Springs for 42 years. Hazel will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her loving family, her children James Hall and wife Charlene of Greensburg and Phyllis Koontz of Fairfield, IL., her step children Garry Wiltrout and wife Wendy of Bakersville, Tim Wiltrout and wife Jean of White, and Karen Smith and husband Tom of White, her grandchildren Cindy Cunningham and husband Jim, Lori Miller, Julie Smith and husband Mike, Shane Hall and wife Amanda, and Heather Austin and husband Jason, her great grandchildren Cameron Cunningham, Mojave Miller, Sahara Miller, Christian Smith, Gavin Smith, Zachary Hall, Peyton Hall, Mila Hall, Megan Austin, Nicholas Austin, and Malia Austin, her step-grandchildren Marissa Lepley and husband Aaron, Amanda Savage and husband Shane, Tyler DeWitt and wife Cheyenne, Emily Wiltrout, Mara McCutcheon Patterson, and Kendal McCutcheon, her step great grandchildren Jayden Bowser, Waylon Lepley, Alaina Lepley, Bella Savage, Paisley Savage, Kaden DeWitt, and Kooper DeWitt, and her brother Frank Brown and wife Marlene of Acme. In addition to her parents Hazel was predeceased by her son Barry D. Hall, her first husband Charles E. Hall, her second husband Gerald R. Wiltrout, her son-in-law Dennis Koontz, her step granddaughter Megan Wiltrout, her brothers Otha Filmore, Herbert, Donald, Clyde, and Vernon Brown, and her sister Freda Shaffer-Miller. Family and friends will be received Sat.from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, the hour of a Funeral Service, in the Calvary United Methodist Church, 328 Calvary Church Rd., Acme, PA. 15610, with Pastor Leona Logan officiating. A committal service and interment will follow in the Brown Cemetery, Acme. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Calvary United Methodist Church or the Ladies United Methodist Missionary Society. Arrangements are under the direction of the Mark C. Brooks Funeral Home Inc., 146 Municipal Building Rd., Melcroft (724-455-2310).
