Mary Beth Brown

June 12, 1981 - December 19, 2021

Mary Beth Brown, 40, of Acme passed away peacefully Sunday December 19, 2021 at her home, while surrounded and comforted by her loving family. Mary Beth had been diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer 4 years ago and her love of God, her strength, and her courage showed through in her life during this difficult time of dealing with this disease. She was born June 12, 1981 in Mt. Pleasant a daughter of Douglas and Mary Lou Herman Basinger of Acme. She was a graduate of Connellsville Area High School with the class of 1999. She worked as a Dairy Farmer, alongside her husband Ben, on their farm, the Whoa Nellie Dairy Farm in Acme. She was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Buchanan Church of God. In addition to her parents, Mary Beth will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her loving husband Benjamin C. "Ben" Brown, her children Anthony, Oliver, and Nellie Brown, all living at home, her brothers Steven (Amanda) Basinger of Norvelt, and Benjamin Basinger (Tiffany) of Connellsville, her paternal grandparents George and Violet Smith Basinger of Everson, her father and mother-in-law Randy and Kim Brown of Acme, and several nieces and nephews. Mary Beth was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Clarence and Mary Kraynak Herman. As per Mary Beth's request there will be no viewing. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Celebration of Mary Beth's Life to be held Sunday January 2, 2022 at 4:00 PM, in the Buchanan Church of God, 836 Buchanan Rd., White, PA 15490,with Pastor Timothy Beatty officiating.
