Nettie Jane Laws Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Nettie Jane Laws, 94, of Normalville, passed away at her home on Wednesday July 20, 2022. She was born August 2, 1927 in Normalville a daughter of the late Frank and Ettie (Nicholson) Richter. Nettie loved gardening, baking, and kids. She will be fondly remembered by her son John Laws and wife Lori, daughters Lucinda Upton and Tanya Kurtz and her partner Paul Reho, all of Normalville. Nettie is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Tim Upton (Theda), Brian D, Upton (Jami), Johanna Parkenson, Nathan Kurtz, Katrina Snyder (Ryan), and Cody Laws (Christie), her 10 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Nettie is also survived by a brother Frank Richter of Indian Head and a sister Alicia Lanning of Normalville, and many nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents Nettie was predeceased by her husband John Clyde Laws (1977), her son Paul Laws (Jan. 2022), and grandson Steven Upton (1997), her brothers Austin, Domer, Charles, Allen, and Herbert Richter, and her sisters Minnie Richter, Bertha Shultz, Hazel Wingrove, Dolly Rohm, and Betty Rohm. As per Nettie's wishes there will be no viewing or public services. Interment will be in the Dan Snyder Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Mark C.
