Peggy R. Keslar Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Peggy (Pritts) Keslar, of Acme, went to be with her Lord from Latrobe Hospital, on April 12, 2022, after a fight with a long illness. She came into this world as a firecracker, being born on July 3rd 1946. Peggy is survived by her husband and fishing rival of 54 years Loren Keslar. She is survived by her daughter Tammy Gemas, her son Michael Keslar, his wife Mandy Emert, and her grandchildren Dakota (Kaleb France) and Cheyenne Keslar. She is also survived by her sister Judie (John) Miller, her Sister-in-laws, Carol (Dennis) Crosby, Vera (Ron) Schoyer, Susie (Jim) Black, Debbie (Patrick) May, and various nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased in death by her parents Arden and Hilda Miller Pritts her infant brother Richard Arden, her sister-in-law LaVerne Keslar, her very special nephew Joshua Millar, and her son-in-law, Michael Gemas. She was a graduate of Connellsville High School class of 1964 but defected to join a group of Mount Pleasant/Ramsey ‘62/’63 reunion planners. At one time she worked as the head of concessions at Motordrome Speedway and provided catering services for the ICVSA gun bashes for years. She was an amazing decorative painter that could be seen every Winefest and Autumnfest at Seven Springs. She even held various painting classes that students loved attending even without wine. She would cheer on her grandchildren at horse show competitions. She loved to fish, and her fishing stories would put most men to shame. There will be no visitation. The family asks that you come and share your memories of Peggy on April 30, 2022 at the Indian Creek Valley Sportsman Association Clubhouse from 2-6 pm.
