Raymond Harold Kinneer, 93, of Acme, passed away Sunday January 16, 2022 in Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. He was born December 11, 1928 in Jones Mills a son of the late Clifford and Lillian Brown Kinneer. Prior to his retirement Raymond worked as a Carpenter through Union Local 1010 and he worked for the Dill Construction Company in Latrobe for 44 years. Raymond's passion for carpentry work carried on throughout his life. He was a member of the Acme United Methodist Church and was always doing projects at the church , especially over seeing many aspects of building the new church. Raymond along with his wife, Elvira founded the Acme Community Center, where he spent many hour working to improve it. He was an avid hunter and Square Dancer. Raymond will be sadly missed but fondly remember by his loving family, his wife of 72 years, Elvira R. Chackan Kinneer, his childrenWarren Kinneer of Ambridge, Rita Naugle and husband Ronald of Youngwood, Barton Kinneer and wife Debra of Acme, and Charma Nicklow and husband Sam of Mt. Pleasant, his grandchildren Ryan Naugle and wife Jolene, Brittany Kinneer, Justin Kinneer and wife Kristen, Crystal Mazurek and husband Jack, and Sam Nicklow, Jr. and wife Krystal, his great grandchildren Brandon Tepper, Riley Naugle, Andrew McGeary, Rachel Naugle, Austin McGeary, Lucas Kinneer, Brady McGeary, Kendra Kinneer, Landon Mazurek, and Madison Nicklow. Raymond was the last surviving member of his immediate family. In addition to his parents Raymond was predeceased by his sisters Mary Kathryn Keslar and Norma Myers, his brothers Neil Kinneer, Bryce Kinneer, Reed Kinneer, and 2 infant brothers, and his daughter-in-law Patricia Ann Leiphart. Family and friends will be received Friday from 2-8 PM in the Mark C. Brooks Funeral Home Inc., at the corner of route 711 and 146 Municipal Building Rd., Melcroft (724-455-2310) where a Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM, with Pastor John Blackburn officiating. A committal service and interment will follow in the Brown Cemetery, Acme. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to the Acme U. M. Church, 3016 Route 31, Acme, PA. 15610, in memory of Raymond H. Kinneer.
