Loretta Lee King

Loretta Lee (Ulery) King, 87, of Donegal passed away peacefully Friday September 15, 2023. She was born April 21, 1936 in Stahlstown, a daughter of the late Rush M. and Rebecca Marker Ulery, Sr. Prior to her retirement Loretta was Head of Housekeeping at Seven Springs Resort in Champion for 36 years. She was a member of both the Donegal American Legion and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading and formerly attended the Donegal CMA Church. Loretta was the heart of the family and will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her loving children Richard King (Debbie Stonebreaker) of Champion, Deb Farrell (Frank) of Mt. Pleasant, Sherri Hribal of Mt. Pleasant, Roy King, Jr. (Sophia) of Blairsville, Diane King (Chuck Karadus) of Normalville, and Brian King of Republic, her grandchildren Nicole Shreve (Josh), Heather DeWitt (Nathan), Ashley Wiltrout (Jake Stoner), Joe Farrell (Christina), Anthony Farrell (Sasha), Zach Hribal (Crystal), Brandie Keating (Joe), Karlie Rhea (Khris)), Jeannine King (Mike), Chuck Karadus, and Jason Hribal (Britteny), her great grandchildren Tatum, Rowan, Gunnar, Bella, Garrett, Makayla, Makenzie, Michlynn, Ashton, Beau, Cooper, Kolbyn, Kylee, Everly, Avery, Noah, Rylee (Kendra), Aurora, Cyrus, Samson, and Vaeda, her great great granddaughter Eve, her sisters-in-law Mary Lou Ulery, Willie Ulery, Esther Ulery, and Janet King, and numerous nieces and nephews. Loretta was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents Loretta was predeceased by her loving husband of 61 years Roy Alvin "Bub" King, Sr. on December 31, 2016, her sons Randy and Robert King, her son-in-law Patrick Hribal, her sisters Kathryn M. Ulery and Nancy Shultz, and her brothers John, Daryl, Rush, Jr., Eugene, and Richard Ulery. The family would like to thank Excela Heath Hospice and Home Care for all the wonderful care given to Loretta and would also like to especially thank Loretta's special friend Amy Sleasman for the kind and wonderful care that she has given to Loretta. Family and friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM in the Mark C. Brooks Funeral Home Inc., at the corner of Route 711 and 146 Municipal Building Rd., Melcroft (724-455-2310) where a Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Dr. Marvin C.
